Parking Lot Meditations Number Two

Did you know taking a long, slow, deep breath in sends a signal to your brain that you are safe? Why does this matter? Because many of us are in fight or flight mode for the majority of the day. This releases adrenaline which then turns into cortisol ~ the stress hormone.

Join me for four minutes of gratitude and breath. Feel refreshed and present in just a few minutes. Be intentional.

Parking Lot Meditations

This is part of a new series of meditation that can be done from your car. These are around five minutes or less. FIVE MINUTES? Yes! I often hear busy moms telling me how much time they spend in parking lots waiting for their kids, which is how this series was inspired. I also see professionals doing work in their cars and hear them talking about how much time they spend in their cars. So why not use some of that time for taking care of YOU?

Be intentional. Pull into the shade. Park. Take off your seat-belt. Keep your sunglasses on if you are worried about people looking at you. If anything, they are saying, "Good for them...I need to do that"! Inspire someone else. Be present. Breathe.

Please share this with a friend! Let's inspire others to add five-minutes of self-care into their full schedules.

Namaste
